      SOMEWHERE  OVER  THE  RAINBOW

Somewhere over the rainbow angry pedestrian throws
a boot through a display window poor  manequin caught
it right in the head toppled backwards into the store the
       alarm wails everybody long gone

Somewhere over the rainbow bombs rip holes
into the countryside chorus of screams on a sunny day
in hell televised in several versions internationally

Somewhere over the rainbow little dog pee?z
on a witchez leg shit just bought these nylons aaaargh
all the way down into high heeled patent leather shoes

Somewhere over the rainbow clowns make up
is running fire engine red hair falling out in clump
two lines of viagra and double burbon on the table

Somewhere over the rainbow the wind is still
there is no way home carnival dismantled left
on the ground with a pile of ticket stubs

Somewhere over the rainbow flooded sewers
ripped bra?z dead batteriez laughing crows circling
the abandoned town square little girl clutches
a headless raggedy anne to her chest
          Somewhere over the rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow bug eyed shoppers
on their knee?z in the malls begging to be cured
saved released or ultimately driven mad with
an endless line of credit  ##

 DO  RE  MI

you gotta have that do re mi boy
gotta have that do re mi
the same way you gotta have flesh
to fuck and die down here
the same way we wear a crucifix/time
                    money  suck  power  fuck  die
you gotta have that do re mi boy
gotta have that do re mi
                    guards standing on invisible borders
drawn in indian blood across the earth
slashed into it with a dirty knife/pen
families turned away to drown in a sewer
of lies , dollars for dreams
you gotta have that do re mi boy
oh yeah I remember what woody sang
our tears watering this desert here
will one day turn into an oasis
o mama earth I will drink from your breast
under a black n blue starry night
gotta have that do re mi    ##

 A FRENCH MOVIE

                           Ashes of a memory
                             mud rises from the bottom
                                        of the sea
Never again to lick the Sun
                              the day is dead
                                    before it's begun
A lock of hair in an envelope
                                living in a dream
                                     of childish hopes
                            Time circles my neck
                                 like the hangman's rope
I try to swallow your world
                                   but i always choke

So what is to become of me "
This feels like A FRENCH MOVIE
                          champagne , blood , roses , tears ,
                            stained sheets - dead atmosphere

The passion that once flowed free
must now be forced to breathe
                           The face of youth
                              turns from white to grey
                                 no one eats
                                   unless they pay
                             Holes in my shirt
                               Hair in disarray
                            Radio , Church Bells ,
                                      children at play.......##

  AIRPORT

It's nineteen seventy two . I am walking
down a long hall , heading for the baggage claim .
A young man in robes , ponytail on the back of his
head , thrusts a hand full of pamphlets in my face,
asks me if i want to contribute to Krishna .

Without missing a step i tell him that i
dont believe in Krishna:Lucifer is my Man!
The man with the ponytail and the pamphlets yelled
after me " YOU ARE GONNA BURN ! "

I stop dead in my tracks , turn around slowly ,
put my suitcase down , tilt my brim back on my head,
look him dead in the eye and say " Baby i am on Fire ! "  ##

         BIRTH

                                        winds  blow
                           waves  break
                           rain   falls
                           heart  aches

                           sun    shines
                           planet turns
                           moon   smiles
                           day    breaks

                           earth  sighs
                           flower unfolds  ##

DESERT

                           Out on the desert
                            I been here for days
                           I've lost my compass
                                 I'm in a daze
                           I feel like I'm in
                                   the twilight Zone
                             can't even remember
                                    if i have a Home

                           Have I lost my senses.......out Here "
                           Can I trust my senses.......out Here "

                           Only the strong survive
                                 when the river runs dry
                           I dig in the sand
                                  bone in hand
                           I see an ocean
                              on the Horizon
                                Is it me
                                    or just a mirage "

                             Have i lost my senses.......out Here "
                          Can i trust my senses.......out Here "  ##

   NAROPADOPA PAUSE IN K-TOWN

Cleopatra on the tv screen
FBI crawling down the telephone
top hatted blue eyed babe
ivory skin
lines on my face
tell ya where i been
beer cheese hashish parks
orange bleeding moon after dark
coyote boy
Lilith
Roy Albert Hall
gnomes and sylphs having a ball
out on the lawn 4th of july
only night i see Ginsey
pie eyed
cosmic kids
burning up the floor
epileptic villager
taking tickets at the door
Marvin Gaye doing a sexual healing
walls are sweating
paint is peeling
big blue bird waits on a field
got kind of a modern day sex appeal
Cleo sporting leopard skin lapels
breast screaming launching pads
jaded decadent sad/glad
old Julius
flowers growing
out of his head
unaware
an ass/asp
is
sharing his bed  ##

 LAUGHING AT THE MOON

across the room
i see you
nobody else
yr light eclipses
all

present

i came to this bar
to lose myself
seeing double
you yank me
into focus
i draw my lips across yrs
taste the nectar

we awake at dawn
in a hotel
minds cracked
dirty clothes
piled up on the floor
take a hit
off a clumsy cigarette
drift back
into sleep
into dreams
roll on smoothly
into the afternoon

dinner can wait
shower water
pouring
over our heads
around our shoulders
down our thighs
in all
cracks and crevices
staff aloft
i pierce
the gates of heaven
oceans part
lips open
i dive deep
deep
deeper
than ever before
tumble into endless space
flick my tongue
across yr nipples
kiss yr neck
brush the hair from yr eyes
squeeze
every last drop of you
into
me

  us

  sitting in a car
a plane
train moving
across cities
i look out the window
a thousand lives
a thousand windows
flickering
across
the minds eye
i slip my hand around yr waist
hearts laughing at the moon
in a sea of pleasures
of dreams
that blossom and die like
flowers in a desert

YOU

                         no more division between
                    sex race religion gender
                    continents day night
                    deep fried in white light
for no better word to describe
                     switch yr inner computer
                     inner telephone on listen
                     to waterfalls streams
                     currents babble of brooks
                      humanity microwaved
                      on the astral plane spread
                      out across the highways
                      and skies constant
                      drone of activity and   NOT
                       in cement bee hives mouthez
                       frozen in a big   O
                       clutching hands scream on bridges
                       of existence flickering images
                       of alpha dope pumping nonsense
                        through psychic veins wooden
                        indians falling face first
                        into streets as storez burn
                        random faces appear
                        plastered by speed and gravity
lice tossed off the earths back
                        staggering off the page
                        as if drunk   or
afflicted with divers dis " ease
                        solar systems exploding
                        planets spinning out
                        of control   turn on
                              yr inner radio
                         we interrupt to bring
                                    YOU   ##
